I named this Promise Unfulfilled because, the pod never got a chance to open and let it's seeds out into the world. Our winter last year ran long, therefore our spring came late and we barely had a summer before fall set in. Our seasons are all messed up. I believe it's due to Global warming. We are not very good stewards to of our earth. We don't have the right to pollute her the way we do.

It breaks my heart to think we will be going backwards now by deregulating the things that is causing our climate change and killing our plants. I will probably be focusing more on this in photography this year. Trying to capture the these living things we are killing off slowly but surely. Because if milkweeds can't spread their seeds, what will the monarch butterfly do?

My Celtic beliefs and heritage have taught me that no matter how large or how small, living or inanimate, everything embodies energy from the universe ... I try to capture that in my photos... I look for the extraordinary in the every day ordinary that surrounds us ...
