Early winter as the day ends, the old oak in the field sleeps until spring. The setting sun casts soft pinks across the land and clouds. The quiet of the rural area is calming after the loud noise and rush of the holiday season. I am so busy soaking up the beauty and silence that is nurturing my soul, that I almost forget to take the photo!
