I loved this scene along one of the streets in Winona. The house is a Victorian, but it was the mere glimpse of the yard with the wrought iron fence on an autumn morning that caught my fancy and imagination. Ladies tending their roses as autumn approaches. Maybe deciding that soon the gardener would have to prepare them for their winter's sleep.
