The Super Moon in November of 2016, the largest of the year. It appears blue due to the slight cloud cover we had that night. It was also extremely cold. I am always amazed how the weather/temperature creates the different effects on the photos of the moon. In the winter months blue becomes the dominant color. In the spring to mid summer, pinks and oranges, and in the fall the reds and deeper oranges come out. Of course, once it's up to it's fullest peak, it's white, but it's the rising that I love because then it's colors are fascinating.
