Artist's Description

I love lilacs ... it's no secret if you know me. The saddest sight for me is when their time has come to an end and their flowers drop to the ground. This morning when I saw them, I thought they looked like stars that had fallen from the sky. So I borrowed the title from my friend Annie's book "Stars Fell Down" for the title of this photo art.

Lilac: – (pride – youth – innocence – beauty)

The colour lilac comes from the beautiful pale purple colour of the lilac flower and its. Lilacs are also white, pale yellow, pink or burgundy and are known for their strong, heady perfume like scent. Lilac became a popular in England, because of its femininity, it is the state flower of New Hampshire and lilacs grow on trees or shrubs.

About Wild Thing

Wild Thing

My Celtic beliefs and heritage have taught me that no matter how large or how small, living or inanimate, everything embodies energy from the universe ... I try to capture that in my photos... I look for the extraordinary in the every day ordinary that surrounds us ... Join me as I wander over back roads, through mist filled swamps and fields, moon filled nights, and sunny days to find my treasures to share with you ... sit quietly ... listen carefully ... and consider these things ... To begin 2017, I am offering 5 prints of my signature piece that I normally do not sell. "A Witches Moon" is now available for a limited time ... please check out my promotional page for more details here: ...
