Late on a winter afternoon, it's warm enough to stop and watch this crick that hasn't frozen over gurgle along. Little mounds of snow laying on small clumps of grass create small islands in it. The lateness of the day give the snow and water that steel color of blue that bright sunshine will not allow in its presence. Definitely worth capturing this calm little pool before I continue on my way.
