When I am stressed or in emotional pain I go to nature. There I seek solace and comfort in it. There, I heal and give up the things that I can't do anything about that is causing me stress or pain. I regain my strength. It was just this type of morning that I needed healing when I came upon the sun just coming up over the ridge through the fog on this morning. It was an omen I felt of reassurance. Telling me I would find what I needed that morning to get through the storms facing me. It proved right, though I still had loss in my life shortly after that, I was able to take the pain and turn it into a positive healing energy for others. This in turn healed me.

My Celtic beliefs and heritage have taught me that no matter how large or how small, living or inanimate, everything embodies energy from the universe ... I try to capture that in my photos... I look for the extraordinary in the every day ordinary that surrounds us ...
