As far back as my memory goes, each Christmas Eve, my Dad and my Grandmother would drink Manischewitz wine. Please don't ask me how a pagan family ended up drinking rabbinical wine to celebrate a Christian holiday, I really don't know! Makes me laugh every time I think of it. Even after my Grandmother crossed over, my Dad would continue the tradition. So the year after my Dad passed away, we continued it and now, every year on Christmas Eve, we gather together; we open a bottle of Manischewitz, and everyone, no matter the age, watered down for the very young, drinks a toast in their memory and honor. I tell the story of why we are drinking it and that kicks off the telling of the stories of those who may not be there physically, but are there in spirit. Have a Blessed Yule Season!
My Celtic beliefs and heritage have taught me that no matter how large or how small, living or inanimate, everything embodies energy from the universe ... I try to capture that in my photos... I look for the extraordinary in the every day ordinary that surrounds us ... Join me as I wander over back roads, through mist filled swamps and fields, moon filled nights, and sunny days to find my treasures to share with you ... sit quietly ... listen carefully ... and consider these things ... To begin 2017, I am offering 5 prints of my signature piece that I normally do not sell. "A Witches Moon" is now available for a limited time ... please check out my promotional page for more details here: ...
